There are no comprehensive records existing for the cemetery. In recent years a transcription of the existing headstones was completed but this listing is incomplete. Christopher Summerville and his family left Ireland in 1846, likely victims of the deadly famine. In June of that year they were transported from Toronto to Holland Landing at a cost of 15 shillings. From there they made their way to Sharon

On 17 September 1812 David Willson was disowned by the Yonge Street Quaker Meeting in Newmarket. He “believed it right for him to continue in the way that he is now in”. This was the beginning of the Children of Peace.
